Building for the Future - Meadow Community School

With the approval of the mill levy override in November, we are ready to dig into our first school rebuild 
project – Meadow Community School!

During the spring of 2022, Mapleton submitted a grant application to Colorado's Building Excellent Schools Today (BEST) program. In May, our project was recommended as a backup candidate for funding. In November, we received the great news that the state would have the ability to partially fund the Meadow rebuild and we received a conditional award of more than $13 million! 

The Board of Education approved the selection of Sampson Construction and RB+B Architects to serve as the design and construction team for Meadow Community School, pending final BEST grant approval. Schematic design meetings will be held during February and March. Dates and more information will be available soon.
